“There is no time not to love.”

My last performance in September 2025 was The Sorry Book/The Great Apology, whereby I explored the theme, Love as Resistance and Forgiveness/Apology as Love Practice. Earlier in the year, Tears for the Children of the World was another iteration of the main theme of my work.
The interval since then has been dedicated to regaining strength post long Covid, and at the same time, wondering what next? What to do in the ominous times we are facing.
For one, another phase of Rivers Run Through Us is in the works. (Begun in 2012 with our epic walk down the Santa Fe River with my two co-creators Valerie Martinez and Bobbe Besold, we never tire of speaking for our dear river). On May 2nd we are preparing to speak again - another piece of Love Practice. We have been invited by the Santa Fe Watershed Association to be part of their yearly Love Your Watershed Day at the De Vargas Park. Their day will run from 11am to 2pm with educational tabling, river cleaning and music. Rivers Run Through Us will offer a river ritual at 12:30. Please come and participate in this LoveFest for the river and community.
So, what is art when everything is breaking down and so many are feeling grief? What is inspiring is that so many creatives, whether activist or artist, or artivist, or heartist, are finding common ground by speaking the language of Love.
With the Earth in my heart,
dominique
